In the Moment

In working on an abstract landscape...

I spilled a lot of paint...

This beautiful blue.

 I stopped painting.

I was living in the moment.

Serendipitous Snowflakes

No better day than the present to share my snowflakes...

Though we are not currently having snow, but ice instead!

Angels with wings...

Falling from the sky..

I find peace in the symmetry

and in the variety.

Materials needed:
square paper and scissors

Be careful, cutting snowflakes can be addicting!

Remembering the simplest tools can sometimes be all I need on this artist holiday,

Another Coloring Book Cover

I first started making coloring books for the

preschoolers to have on Wednesday nights at church.

You can see my first front cover here and read about the process

to make your own coloring book for your classes.

This is the front cover for the new curriculum this spring:

Fruits of the Spirit

Love, Patience, Generosity, Joy, Honesty, Faithfulness, Kindness and Peace just to name a few...

Color copies are made of the front cover.

The curriculum provided all the insert pages this time.

Due to copyright infringement, I cannot post those pages.
Sorry!

If you would like to use this front cover for your church needs, please send me an email and I can send you the file or copy from this posting.

As always, thank you to the supporters in my life who make these opportunities possible for me to express my creativity!

And a special thank you to Mrs. Rutenkroger, my high school art teacher, who first showed me how to draw a tree.

73+ Cans

The tallies are in...

I was able to collect 73 cans for my local food bank during the Christmas Season!

My journey began here and then here.

Adding the 60 cans my friend donated to her church with my 73 cans equals...

133 cans!

I reached my goal of collecting 50-100 cans plus more!

What a feeling of accomplishment!

Thank you all for your support!
